Precision eControl today launched Authorized Seller Management (ASM) in Orion, its channel integrity platform for consumer brands. The launch brings authorized seller relationships, quality-control audits, communications, and program records into the same operating environment as marketplace monitoring, disruption analytics, enforcement, and impact reporting. By connecting channel relationships with observed seller activity and the work of managing channel partners, Orion helps brands make better-informed decisions, coordinate its actions, and track improvements in channel health.

What is Authorized Seller Management?

Authorized Seller Management connects the management of a brand’s authorized seller network with the marketplace intelligence and enforcement capabilities in Orion. Brands can organize their seller relationships and authorization records, assign and complete quality-control audits of their authorized sellers, communicate with sellers, and maintain program documents alongside visibility into online seller activity. This gives teams the relationship context and working tools they need to manage channel integrity day to day.

What problem does ASM solve?

Brands often manage seller relationships in spreadsheets, communicate through individual inboxes, and store documents in disconnected systems. Meanwhile, marketplace monitoring shows seller activity without the full context of those relationships. Teams must piece together who a seller is, where it operates, whether it is authorized, and what actions have been taken. ASM brings these records and recurring workflows into Orion, reducing fragmentation and preserving a shared history as brand teams and team member responsibilities change.

What can brands do with ASM?

  • Connect businesses to their selling locations: Map parent companies to their marketplace storefronts, websites, and physical locations, with authorization status visible across the ecosystem.
  • Build a central seller record: Bring business details, seller and brand contacts, authorizations, audit history, and communications together with marketplace activity to support better informed business decisions.
  • Verify seller standards: schedule, assign, and complete quality-control audits to assess whether authorized sellers meet program requirements, document findings, and conduct follow-up audits to verify remediation.
  • Coordinate seller communications: send policy updates, do-not-sell lists, and notices of policy violations using reusable templates and contact lists with a retained history of communications.
  • Centralize program documents: store program terms, MAP policies, warranty documents, and quality control materials, and attach them directly to communications.

“Brands need to connect what they know about their channel partners with what those sellers are doing in the market and with the work required to address disruption. ASM brings more of that day-to-day work into Orion, giving a Brand’s teams a shared environment to manage seller relationships, act on intelligence, and measure progress toward healthier channels and stronger commercial performance.”

— Blake Burrus, CEO, Precision eControl

How does ASM fit into the Orion platform?

Orion connects four essential parts of channel integrity management: marketplace intelligence, seller management, enforcement, and outcome measurement. Monitoring and analytics help brands identify and prioritize advertised pricing disruption, Buy Box loss and suppression, and unauthorized seller activity. ASM adds relationship context and tools for recurring work with authorized sellers, including audits, communications, and program recordkeeping. Together with Orion’s enforcement workflows and Business Impact reporting, these capabilities help a Brand’s teams move from understanding channel conditions to taking action and evaluating results within a shared platform.

When and where is ASM available?
